It’s been six years since Hurst L.D. Bell has made it past the bi-district round. That streak is now over. L.D. Bell, the No. 6 team in the 6A area rankings, beat Arlington Bowie 82-53. Alabama signee Myra Gordon had a game-high 27 points to lead L.D. Bell. Teammate Hallie Rhodes wasn’t too far behind, finishing with 23 points. L.D. Bell will play Amarillo Tascosa in the next round.
